Day 1 Arrival in Leh (get acclimatised to the Leh climate)
On Arrival Leh Airport the splendours of your Magical Leh Ladakh Tour. You will be warmly greeted by our tour representatives who will drive you to a Leh hotel and help you in checking-in. unwind yourself to the magnificent views all around and spend the day at leisure to get acclimatised to the Leh climate.

By evening, you can take a walk around the Leh Market and witness how life thrives in the bustling lanes of Leh; overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2 Leh–(Excursion) Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, The Sangam, Hall of Fame, Zanskar and Indus River,
Wake up to your first morning amidst the enchanting environs of Ladakh; enjoy a heart-warming breakfast and get ready for an amazing drive to the gorgeous Leh Excursion.

Attractions of the Day:

Magnetic Hill: The Magnetic Hill is one the most wondrous attractions! A hill that defies the laws of gravity, it pulls the vehicles upwards the ascent of the hill. Though many researchers have put their theories and statements; no one has been able to decode this mystical phenomenon yet!

Gurudwara Patthar Sahib: (Leh-Srinagar Road)
This gurudwara (sacred place for the Sikhs) is only 25km from Leh town on Kargil Leh Highway. Devoted to Guru Nanak Devi Ji, the founder of Sikh Religion, the sacred place beautifully commemorate his visit to Ladakh. Dating back to 1517, the Gurudwara houses a boulder with imprints of the head, shoulders and backside of Shree Guru Nanak Dev. Guru Nanak Devji, the founder of Sikhism, heard their prayers, and came to rescue them by following the route through Nepal, Sikkim, Tibet, Yarkand and finally to Leh. The latter worship the presiding deity here as Lama Nanak or Guru Gompa Maharaj. A legend is associated with the place and makes it a famous pilgrimage spot for the people visiting Leh- Ladakh.

The Sangam:
On your way to the scenic Sham Valley in Ladakh, you will come across the confluence point of both the Zanskar and Indus rivers. One of the most mystical attractions in Ladakh, a visit to Sangam Point will surely hold you captive with its enchanting appeal! This enticing point is best visited during the winters when the water of the Zanskar tends to freeze down while the Indus River flows with full glory!.

Hall of Fame:
It is a museum that is maintained by the Indian Army. Not just every India on a Leh Ladakh tour, but every visitor to Ladakh must visit this glorious museum! Unlike other traditional museum, Hall of Fame displays the memorabilia of the valorous Indian soldiers who sacrifice their lives while protecting the dignity of the Motherland. On a visit to Hall of Fame, visitors can also witness pictures of soldiers who attained martyrdom, weapons used by them, their dresses, and other belongings.

Day 3 Leh-Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery, Hunder via Khardung La pass (Camel Riding and Sunset at Desert)

Nubra Valley:
One of the most beautiful parts of the moonscapes of Ladakh, Nubra Valley is a deep cut gorge created by the combined effects of Shyok and Nubra (Siachen) rivers. Once on the trading route that connected eastern Tibet with Turkistan via the famous Karakoram Pass. Nubra Valley is the most beautiful region in all of Ladakh. Home to wonders like the Diskit Monastery,Hunder Sand Dunes, Samstanling Gompa, Yarab Tso Lake, and the villages of Turtuk and Panamik.

Hunder:
Beautiful but remote, Hunder is located in the Nubra Valley, Jammu and Kashmir and is 7 km from Diskit which is popular for it Buddhist monastery. Hunder was the farthest accessible points for the tourists in India before Turtuk was opened in 2010. It is a very quiet village serenaded by the soft sound of many streams and rivers crisscrossing the rather green landscape. There are stunning silver sand dunes of Hunder in the Nubra Valley region.

Diskit moastery or Diskit Gompa:
Diskit moastery or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and the largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley. With more than hundred monks inside, this monastery is a living place to enjoy the culture and religion of the land. Once you enter the monastery, you can find a Maitreya Buddha in entrance. This statue is 106 foot tall. There is a huge drum inside the hall, which is said to wade off evil. On the second floor, you will find many guardian deity statues. The monastery has a crowned Buddha statue, which is an iconic attraction of this place.

Khardung La Pass:
The highest motorable pass in the world, Khardung La Pass boasts of its alluring charm and towering height! Perched at a soaring height of 18,390ft above the sea level, it is also called the ‘Gateway to Shyok Valley’. Located in the lap of the great Karakoram Range, it is around 40km from the heart of Leh, and is a much coveted destination among the adventure freaks. Trekking, hiking, jeep safari, motorcycle trips, and mountain biking are some of the most sought after activities around the Khardung La Pass.

Day 4 Hunder – Turtuk (Hiking to Monastery) – Hunder (or Leh). Visit Samstaling monastery at Sumur village

Attractions of the Day:

Turtuk:
Over the mighty Khardung-La, on the edge of Shyok valley, lies India’s northernmost village. This is a road fairly less travelled, beyond Nubra Valley, longer perhaps, but with some of the best views ever. India’s last major settlement, Turtuk, is predominantly Muslim but does have a couple of gompas overlooking the Shyok River as well, Known as village divided by a border, Turtuk has many stories to tell. Thanks to a petition by locals to connect with the world, Turtuk opened its doors to inquisitive souls in 2010.

Day 5 Nubra Valley – Pangong lake via Shayok valley, stay at Pangong Lake.

Attractions of the Day:

Pangong Tso Lake:
Seated at an elevation of 4,350m, Pangong Tso Lake is one of the most gorgeous and highest lakes in the entire world. A saline water reservoir in Ladakh, it is around 140km away from Ladakh’s capital city Leh, and is a major attraction in all the Leh Ladakh tour packages. Flaunting its magical beauty in the higher altitudes of Ladakh, Pangong Tso flows into China; only one-third of it flows through the Indian Territory.

Shayok valley:
Nubra region comprises of two river valleys i.e. the Nubra Valley and the Shayok Valley. Shayok River is a major tributary of Indus. Beyond Shayok River Valley lays the confluence of river Indus and river Shayok. Here both the rivers are split into innumerable channels of streams spread over a desert-like terrain. The road lies low, close to the confluence and is bordered by mountains thereafter forming a flat desert leaving the mountainous landscape behind!

Day 6 Pangong - Kyagar Tso - Tso Moriri.

Kyagar Tso:
Kyagar Tso is a very small saline water lake at an elevation of 4.705m (15,436ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayan Mountains, in Jammu and Kashmir in northern India.The road to the lake includes paved sections but is mostly unpaved. Along this part, the road is very bumpy, on gravel & stone strewn sections. It’s located near the famous Tso Moriri Lake. Before you join the trip be aware that you'll cross several very high passes, be subjected to very cold nights even mid-summer and that there are essentially no villages en route to add interest or shelter to the trip. This region is extremely remote and very sparsely populated, but is full of amazing beauty.

Tso Moriri Lake:
Located around 250km south-east of Leh, Tso Moriri Lake is a must-to-visit attraction in all Leh Ladakh tour packages. Reaching a height of around 4,000m above the sea level, this magnificent lake is guarded by several fascinating mountains and captivating snow-clad peaks. Whether an adventure freak, leisure seeker, romantic holidayer, backpacker, or nature lover, Tso Moriri Lake can infect everyone with its surreal beauty. Nature photography, birdwatching, trekking, hiking, and lakeside camping are some of the most sought after activities around the Tso Moriri Lake in Ladakh.

Day 7 Tso Moriri - Tso Kar – Leh

Tso Moriri Lake:
Located around 250km south-east of Leh, Tso Moriri Lake is a must-to-visit attraction in all Leh Ladakh tour packages. Reaching a height of around 4,000m above the sea level, this magnificent lake is guarded by several fascinating mountains and captivating snow-clad peaks. Whether an adventure freak, leisure seeker, romantic holidayer, backpacker, or nature lover, Tso Moriri Lake can infect everyone with its surreal beauty. Nature photography, birdwatching, trekking, hiking, and lakeside camping are some of the most sought after activities around the Tso Moriri Lake in Ladakh.

Tso Kar:
Tso Kar is a fluctuating salt lake in scenic Ladakh Valley. Popular as the white lake, and unlike its counterparts Tso Moriri and Pangong Tso, Tso Kar Lake is the most peaceful and calm of them all and also the smallest of the three. There are only a few yak sheds, a monastery and a couple of nomadic families in the surrounding. An overnight camping expedition is recommended as the experience is unlike any other. Tso Kar also has a large variety of birds for bird lovers as the marshlands surrounding the lake supports an amazing array of birdlife.

Day 8 Leh - Lamayuru Monastery, & Monastery, Magnetic Hill

Lamayuru or Yuru Monastery:
Lamayuru or Yuru Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Lamayouro, Leh district, Ladakh, India. Lamayuru Monastery is situated at an altitude of 3510 meters on the Leh -Srinagar highway. Also known as the Moonland of Ladakh, Lamayuru’s claim to fame is the distinct geographical formation of moon-like landscapes carved into the greater Himalayas. Thereafter, Naropa found a dead lion covered by the waters of the lake. Naropa built the first temple on this spot and named it as the Singhe Ghang (Lion Mound).

Magnetic Hill:

Tso Kar Lake:

The highest brackish water reservoir in the entire world, it is a true treasure trove for the nature lover; especially the bird watchers.
