Overview
Pushkar is one of the oldest cities in India. Located to the northwest of Ajmer, the tranquil city of Pushkar is a favoured destination for thousands of tourists and devotees flocking to Rajasthan. According to legends, Lord Brahma, believed to be the creator of the Universe dropped a lotus to the ground leading to the immediate creation of a lake. He then decided to name the place after the flower, and thus the name, Pushkar. The city of Pushkar is home to the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole world. Hindus consider a journey to Pushkar to be the ultimate pilgrimage that must be undertaken to attain salvation.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
You will be heartily greeted by our Travels Moon Team travel expert as you reach Delhi Airport and will be taken to a pre-booked hotel and some brief discussion about the tour and handed over all the document related the tour. Relax and spend a reposeful night at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
Delhi is a city offering an assorted experience to the travellers coming to explore it. Versatility that this city embraces perfectly lies in sites like : ChandniChowk, Birla Temple, Lotus Temple, Rajghat (the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid (largest mosque in India) etc. Also we get to city the legacy that foreign invaders have handed down to India during their rule : Red Fort (a tremendous red fortress built by Shahjahan), QutabMinar (second tallest minaret in India), Humayun’s Tomb (Burial of Humayun) and India Gate plus the nearby ministerial buildings including RashtrapatiBhawan (the President’s house). Sightseeing of Delhi on this day after which return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra ( 205 Km )
Welcome the dawn with a comfortable drive to Agra covering 230 kms approximately. Check into a hotel as soon as you arrive and then after some freshening yourself up, set out on Agra’s discovery and visit Red Fort (a UNESCO world heritage site) and the world renowned TajMahal. TajMahal was built using white marble combining remarkable features of various structures built by former Mughal rulers. Other sites listed on your itinerary will be Akbar’s fort in Sikandra, Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 04 : Agra - Jaipur
In the morning depart for Jaipur visiting FatehpurSikri on the way. The grand BulandDarwaza (largest entrance place in the world), holy Jama Masjid and Sheikh SalimChishti’s (a famous Sufi saint) tomb are some fascinating views. Continue driving towards Jaipur and transfer to the hotel with the help of our assistants. Peaceful overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : In Jaipur
In Jaipur excursion schedule for day fifth, we have three important landmarks of Jaipur : the ‘regal’ HawaMahal (also called the Palace of winds), ‘awe-inspiring’ Jai Singh’s observatory/ JantarMantar and ‘spectacular’ City Palace Museum (presenting varied artefacts and weapons). In summation, we have the ‘strong trio’ of three forts owned by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II- Amber Fort, Nahargarh fort and Jaigarh Fort (all overlooking Jaipur City). Ascend to Amber fort entrance via a mighty elephant ride (Amber fort is situated on a hill). Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Pushkar
Start for Pushkar on this day. Check in to an accommodation with the help of our officials where your name has been pre-registered and relax for the whole night in the tranquil surroundings of holy city Pushkar.
Day 07 : In Pushkar
This day is spent walking around in the exuberant Pushkar fair which has the reputation of being the largest camel fair in the whole world. Getting bright chances to click photographs is quite common as the backdrop is filled up with myriad colours. We will return back to the hotel for restful night stay after a hectic day at the fair.
Day 08 : Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi
Proceed for Ajmer in morning (travelling 15 kms) and tour the city visiting very popular sites like KhwajaSahebDargah where ‘Akbar the great’ is believed to have made his annual pilgrimage, Ana Sagar Lake & nearby DaultBagh (having white marble pavilions) which is a beautiful site for taking a quiet stroll, Taragarh Fort giving a panoramic view of Ajmer etc. Pick and drop at railway station in afternoon to board a train in time to reach Delhi. Proceed to intl. Airport to board flight back home.
Day 09 : Delhi - Abroad / Onward Destinations
Depart for onward destination on the last day as we drop you to the airport to board your flight in time.
